Further Proposed Modifications to the North Hertfordshire Local Plan 2011- 2031

Representation ID: 8499

Received: 14/05/2021

Respondent: Mr Justin Richards

Representation Summary:

Hertfordshire should not allow the urban sprawl of Luton to encroach upon the villages and towns between Luton and Hitchin. This will result in the loss of the greenbelt, loss of bio diversity and will make the area far too urban. Other solutions must be sought rather than just tacking on additional housing to already overcrowded conurbations.

Once again, there is no infrastructure expansion to support any of this housing and this will lead to higher air pollution and traffic congestion.
