Thanks for the invitation to further comment : I hope you will heed to my warnings below
People much more knowledgeable than my good self have their opinions under way in regard to environmental matters etc
And I see those involved as very capable:
i.e. Cllr Ian Moody for one; Well done
I like to think myself as an expert on road traffic having been investigating road collisions over many decades:
See my CV now attached
It remains my deeply considered review that anyone or organisation involved in approving this plan,
Leave themselves open to possible Corporate Manslaughter Actions:
Threat of such actions have in the past succeeded in: -
Installations of traffic lights at A1000 junc Shepherds Way, Brookmans Park, where I have as a recovery specialist in 70s and 80s attended far too many fatal road collisions
Also
Following death of Princess Diana in a Paris Underpass where the blame, I felt, was to the council authority for not installing Armco Barriers and subsequently after a relatively small ‘battle’ with HCC and their contractor
Such Armco was installed at the very dangerous underpass and the A1M in Old Knebworth Lane
Codicote is already overly ‘trafficked’
Vulnerable people living here include lots of older people and lots of school children : Most of whom will visit local shops etc
On your head be it if any more traffic should be deemed culpable to any future misfortunes on local roads on balance of present position
