Further Proposed Modifications to the North Hertfordshire Local Plan 2011- 2031

As long term residents of Barkway we are aware of the need for more housing in the area . This has already been met by a number of small developments. The suggested plans for BK3 are far too large for the village as there is not the infrastructure to support it.

What are the reasons for the decision of the inspector not to accept North Herts request to exclude BK3 from the Local Plan? Not knowing this has made it impossible for the village to put its case against this development.

We object to the development of BK3 and ask that the request by North Herts to exclude BK3 from the proposed developments of the local plan be adhered to.
