Representation ID: 6678
Received: 05/07/2018
Respondent: Hertfordshire County Council - Environment & Infrastructure Department
The reference to the importance of green infrastructure is fully supported. However, there is no reference to the local Green Infrastructure Plan (AUgust 2009) that should inform the aims and policies of the neighbourhood plan. There is an opportunity to emphasise the definition of GI and the key principles of GI to create locally distinct and high quality places.

HCC as Minerals and Waste Planning Authority seeks additional wording to the introductory paragraphs of the neighbourhood plan that recognises the adopted Minerals and Waste Local Plan documents forming part of the development plan for Preston.
The Minerals Planning Authority would reiterate what was previously outlined regarding minerals by stating that there is potential of sand and gravel at either of the Mineral Resource Blocks should the need arise.
