Representation ID: 6411
Received: 23/03/2017
Respondent: Mr Wilfred Aspinall
Has the Character Assessment really been understood by the residents of Pirton. Have they been encouraged to read it, indeed is it available or is it produced and reference made to it with the full intention that it will not be read.

Policy PNP 2 - Design and Character
Representation ID: 6412
Received: 23/03/2017
Respondent: Mr Wilfred Aspinall
Object on the following grounds:
how can the Character Assessment be used to refuse planning applications?;
protected views from the Chilterns AONB into the village would prevent any house building or car parking;
gardens for all residents could include use of land defined as a Scheduled Monument, allowing bigger plots; and
how can innovative development be encouraged under the terms of the Character Assessment?

Policy PNP 1 - Meeting Local Need
Representation ID: 6413
Received: 23/03/2017
Respondent: Mr Wilfred Aspinall
Object on the following grounds:
the cap of 30 dwellings on a site is illogical;
the Visual Character Areas deter house developments and should be deleted from the neighbourhood plan;
there is no strategy for attracting young families into the village or for providing accommodation for downsizers; and
policy should be recommending sites for development.

Representation ID: 6414
Received: 23/03/2017
Respondent: Mr Wilfred Aspinall

Pirton needs a dynamic approach to building houses, not a negative or stand still attitude which appears to be on the main agenda of the NDP

Object on the following grounds:
the visual character areas identified will create obstacles to building new houses - they should be deleted;
no evidence to justify the designations; and
no consultation has taken place with landowners.

Representation ID: 6416
Received: 23/03/2017
