Once more I would like to object to the above application for 33 new homes to be built off Claybush Road.
Adding such a large number of buildings on the edge of the village will be out of proportion to the size of the village and will not be integrated into the village.
I understand that the school and the doctors' surgery are already finding it difficult to cope with the numbers of people needing their services, by adding so many more homes they cannot be expected to cope.
The site is on the brow of a hill making it difficult to build a safe access for traffic, and the narrowness of the road means that a pavement would be impossible to add, putting pedestrians in danger.
The view of these additional homes would be an ugly addition to the landscape. I'm sure that more appropriate sites can be found around the village rather than add them all in one space and all at one time. Huge developments such as is proposed would not be an improvement to the village and is not needed.
Please do not allow this application to go ahead.
