I object very strongly to the building of 33 houses on a green field site outside the village boundary(no consultation on this point), a elevated situation overlooking the whole heritage village as well conservation areas of outstanding natural beauty, and Arbury Banks Ancient Monument.
The village's infrastructure cannot sustain the site. The water systems and sewerage and very old and there are often problems.
Access for pedestrians and vehicles is so dangerous, no space for footpaths and no space to put them.
Ashwell school is full and Doctors surgery is understaffed in all areas
Walkers and cyclists tourists all visit year round.
Parking now is a nightmare, and with a possible 66 cars from the Claybush site major problems .
Parking at Ashwell and Baldock stations is far to small now
The density of the proposed site far exceeds the density of development in village and would alter the character of one the gems of North Hertfordshires Heritage Villages.
Planning permission for the site has been rejected by Planning , for 30 years because it is unsuitable. It remains unsuitable.

Ashwell has exceeded the number of houses (date given 2020) and has several planning sites going ahead.

Please do not give permission.
