Local Plan 2011-2031 Proposed Submission Draft

As the plans for the expansion of Baldock with new housing is debated and agreed then there is no better time to compliment that with improved sporting facilities within the area. There are few options currently available and for a thriving town such as Baldock the options are painfully thin compared with its neighbouring towns.
Alongside Government plans to tackle the growing threat of childhood obesity new amenities would help to build the community and give a healthy outlet to the current and future generations of Baldock youth as well as all age groups within the locality.

I hope the plans to add and improve the recreational outlets are put into practice in the near future.
