I wish to record my concern at the proposal to build a further nine houses on. DUNCOTS CLOSE. The road is very narrow and has no pavements. There is inadequate parking now to allow for emergency and utility vehicles. A further nine houses would more than double the traffic and therefore the danger.
There is areal problem with drainage and sewerage in the close. I live in xxxx and it is a matter of record that my garden path has been flooded with raw sewerage on several occasions. I have had to wait several hours for cleaning and removal of the material and on some occasions the untreated material has simply been brushed into the field and on the paths where families walk to school. Imagine what it is going to be like if more houses are added to the close.
Is this really how we want to treat our Green Belt Areas?
