Object on the following grounds:
football facilities are already over subscribed and below the national average; and
new sports facilities needed to accommodate the additional demand.
I am writing to you to show my concern regarding the lack of sporting facilities in Baldock. Baldock town's current leisure facilities are way below the national average and with increasing housing plans the population is looking to double in the near future, with no plans to increase the sporting facilities.
It would e a crying shame for the town to be full of people with nothing to do, especially for the youth of the town. We should be encouraging the next generation to stay fit & healthy in order to make their & our future bright.
It is also concerning that Baldock Town Football club does not even have a pitch in Baldock!
