Local Plan 2011-2031 Proposed Submission Draft

At present Baldock are lacking in sporting facilities, for many years Baldock Town fall well behind on many of its neighbours. With the proposed population of Baldock expanding With 3000+ new homes to be built, what is the Council going to do?
The government are sending out health issues all of the time and concerns with the youngsters, Diabetes, obesity etc., should we have a possibility of say an extra 10,000 people descending on Baldock possibly a third of them youngsters, what are they going to do in their free time? Not only the youth but adults, as we are continuously told "you have to exercise and keep active"!!.
I would like to ask, no plea with yourselves, to seriously consider on equipping Baldock with the sporting facilities that it really does need - Baldock FC belongs in Baldock, not another town.
