I object to this proposal that affects Ickĺeford primary school which is part of the conservation area.. The building itself is visually the most attractive part of the village centre, with a good educational reputation . Being, on the M2 bus route & close to the village store it is convenient for parents.
It cannot cope with the children from 150 new homes, so a new school may be necessary & might well absorb the existing school. If this happens there are no plans to safeguard the building from a developer.
