Object to SP19 - EL1, EL2 and EL3:

Cockernhoe / Mangrove Green area.

I would like to object to the proposed plans to develop housing around the Cockernhoe / Mangrove Green area.
This area is not only Green Belt land, which should not be built on, but it would seriously affect the villages in the area which would be swallowed up by such developments. The intrinsic village nature of the communities would be lost. The villages would be surrounded by people from another town, with a different educational system, no infrastructure in terms of road systems and a loss of countryside to the detriment of the villages in North Hertfordshire. A several thousand percent increase in people and houses for three small villages for which North Herts is well known.
The way of life for the English country village should not be lost, but such a development would cause this loss for the people currently living in the villages and for the future generations.
The infrastructure of the surrounding roads struggles at the moment. The addition of new homes in this area would push the existing infrastructure beyond breaking point.
Please reject these plans.
