Object on the following grounds:
congestion on Bedford Road;
difficult access to Hitchin Boys School;
busy alternative routes; and
no coordination with neighbouring authorities.
I Would like to object to the proposed developments in Ickleford , specifically IC3 on the grounds of Traffic congestion.
It is already clear that The Bedford Road through Hitchin to the Luton/Stevenage turnings is far too congested at key times of the day. Also access to Hitchin Boys School is difficult to access. Any use of alternative routes through Hitchin is equally busy. The roads clearly cannot take the extra traffic that would be generated. This is before the plans for neighbouring authorities, with whom there has clearly been no coordination, have been outlined.
