Policy SP8: Housing
Representation ID: 1626
Received: 30/11/2016
Respondent: Mrs Anne Sinclair
Legally compliant? No
Sound? No
Duty to co-operate? No
Object to SP8 in relation to Baldock:
- impact on ancient market town
- scale of development
- non-existent shopping centre
- needs to be a boundary between the new town and Baldock
As a grandmother to have homes for grandchildren, good, but to have a New Town which maybe larger than Baldock SP14 and adjacent to it will destroy this ancient market town by sheer numbers of people shopping at the non-existent shopping centre created when Tesco moved in here.

Object to Bygrave in general):
- I noticed there was no provision in the Local Plan for our aging population such as nursing homes or pensioners residences of any kind. I hope this will be rectified before passing this plan.
Thank you for allowing the online method for a grandmother to have her say. I found the whole dictionary of "Speak" extremely difficult to understand. To submit was like a puzzle which I could not solve without pressing buttons. As a result I feel I have not been heard as a Bygrave resident (of very few people here).
