Local Plan 2011-2031 Proposed Submission Draft

I object to the proposal on the basis of its environmental impact on the area and pressure on local services. It is within a zone 3 and 2 flood plain and it will massively affect the view of home owners this side of Henlow and lower stondon including mine. It will also increase traffic on a very busy and dangerous road. There is also an active proposal being put to Central Bedfordshire County Council for housing on farmland directly opposite this site across Bedford Road for 100 homes just inside the county boundary and on the same flood plain, these two sites must be considered together!! This combined with the future sell off of RAF Henlow for housing in 2020 will result in a huge impact on the village of Lower stondon and Henlow Camp and its countryside and infrastructure.
