I totally object to the development of the field adjoining Templars Lane Preston. In addition to the concerns on the attached document I would like to point out that since the existing development has been in place I have continuing problems with sewage smells in my bathroom. I have on numerous occasions contacted the water department who tell me that there is an ongoing investigation into this problem. I live in a small cottage and the smell emanates throughout the house. My neighbour also has this problem and sometimes the smell is noticed at the front of our properties. Our water pressure has also been significantly reduced.

Preston is a small rural village lacking the infrastructure to absorb more housing. Our lanes were not built to withstand increased traffic. The quality of the existing new houses built at Templars lane is appalling. They are not suitable for families. The properties I have seen have no hallway and the sitting rooms which are accessed from the front door are so small that once a sofa has been installed there would be no room for any other furniture. The houses are poorly designed and the finish is cheap.
