We know that you will have had many responses to the proposals from those who have information on how they will affect schools, roads and infrastructure. We would like to focus on one separate point.

Development of the Claybush Hill site has been rejected several times. Of course many villages see themselves as unique and inviolable, but Ashwell has been lucky to be able to include numbers of new houses over the years without swamping or changing the original experience of a mediaeval village, set in its surrounding farming land. The proposed development would destroy that for ever.
