There are several suggestions that are shown in the Rights of Way Improvement Plan (ROWIP) that need to be included to improve Rights of Way for Equestrians.
This includes the Eve Way (Thieves Way) which runs from Chelmsford to Stevenage and passes through the Parish of Barkway and includes UCR1 which has a definitive Map Modification Order to record it as a Byway Open to All Traffic (BOAT).
