Support for Barley:
- site '309' should be included - land to the south has been included within the village boundary, same ownership

We are the agent who represent the owners of the above mentioned site. In your last call for sites we submitted site '309' in Barley, which, following your site assessments was deemed unsuitable as it was thought that the site would not meet the five homes threshold. Given the land to the south has been included within the village development boundary (also promoted by ourselves) and is in the same ownership, these two sites joined will easily accommodate above the five homes threshold.

We have recently submitted a planning application (see attached site plan) for 9 homes and clearly indicates that the five homes threshold is easily accommodated within the site. I strongly feel that this site should be included within the village envelope and be included in the Local Plan.

As indicated on the plan, the doctor's surgery will be a beneficial part of the scheme. We have been for many months consulting with the surgery for the best possible solutions to allow them to potentially expand but in the immediate future, should planning permission be granted, enable the car park to be enlarged to allow all staff and visiting patients to park safely and off the public highway (as is the case at the moment with vehicles parking the High Street.

Please do not hesitate in contacting myself to discuss any of the attached further.
