The Council will rely on evidence from the latest Strategic Housing Market Assessment (SHMA), parish level housing need surveys/assessments and local knowledge (for example from the common housing register), in addition to any adopted NP to inform the number, type and tenure of any affordable housing provision. It is very rare to get the provision of bungalows, particularly on smaller schemes, as costs are so much greater.
