Wymondley Parish Neighbourhood Plan 2015 - 2031

Representation ID: 6454

Received: 03/08/2017

Respondent: Mr Steve Foster

Representation:

The proposed policy is extremely onerous and fails to have regard to national and local policy, in particular the presumption in favour of sustainable development. Specifically the allotment site on Stevenage Road, Little Wymondley does not meet the Basic Conditions and should be deleted.

The policy is not effective nor positively worded. It is a statement of intent and is not robust enough to address any concerns with regard to designating or protecting local green spaces.

Wymondley Parish Neighbourhood Plan 2015 - 2031

Representation ID: 6593

Received: 04/08/2017

Respondent: North Hertfordshire District Council

Representation:

Local Green Spaces can be designated through the neighbourhood plan, providing that there is sufficient evidence to justify the designations. Once designated the Qualifying Body could consider whether the neighbourhood plan would need to include any additional policies for controlling development within those spaces. The designation of Local Green Spaces in the neighbourhood plan would help to meet one of the basic conditions for neighbourhood planning, achieving sustainable development.
