Wymondley Parish Neighbourhood Plan 2015 - 2031

Representation ID: 6482

Received: 20/07/2017

Respondent: Environment Agency

Representation:

Given that surface water management is a key issue in this area, we agree that developing and implementing a SWMP is very important. Once in place, the SWMP may give rise to a SUDS policy which can be implemented for any proposed developments in the area to ensure that the development will not increase flood risk elsewhere in the community and where possible reduce the risk overall.

Comments from the Environment Agency were previously submitted to the Regulation 14 consultation.

Wymondley Parish Neighbourhood Plan 2015 - 2031

Representation ID: 6588

Received: 04/08/2017

Respondent: North Hertfordshire District Council

Representation:

These policies do not address the development and use of land. Developing a SWMP is more of a project that could be included separately in the plan.
The Submission version of the Local Plan includes Policy NE8 : Sustainable Drainage Systems which will apply to all development proposals in the District. In addition, Policy WY1 : Land south of Little Wymondley, specifically states that any development proposal for the site must address the existing surface water and river flood risk issues, particularly along Stevenage Road.
